Students must obtain a minimum of 180 points by attending elective activities to meet their IPE Passport requirements (Approximately four to five activities).

You will not receive points for attending the same session twice. Once you have obtained 180 points, you have finished the passport requirements.

This means if you got all points in the fall term, there is no need to acquire points in the winter term.

No points are awarded for participating in the NAITastic IPE Kickoff or TeamSTEPPS simulation sessions as they are completion requirements.

Students that receive 300 or more points will receive a certificate upon the completion of the IPE Passport within your program.

If you are unable to attend an elective activity, please cancel your registration as soon as possible (no later than 48 hours in advance of the session).

In the event of unforeseen circumstances please email IPEPassport@nait.ca if there is less then 48 hours until the start of the event.

Attendance may be taken in various ways depending on the session you participate in.

Sessions will have an attendance QR code that you must complete before leaving the activity to receive credit towards your passport.

Virtual sessions may have attendance links that you will need to complete at the end of the session.

If you are attending an elective activity that is hosted by another organization (AHS, Covenant Health, etc.) please ensure you either submit a certificate for proof of completion or print off an off campus attendance sheet to have the facilitator sign at the activity.

Your points will be recorded in the IPE Passport Brightspace page within one week of the event; they will also be transferred to the corresponding course for your program.
